The 997.1 Turbo is known as one of the most reliable 911s, thanks in large part to the 3.6-liter twin-turbo Mezger engine, which originated in the Le Mans-winning GT1 race car. It was the first production car to feature variable turbine geometry [VTG]. As a result, it has virtually no turbo lag, plenty of low-end torque, and explosive performance at high RPMs. In this case, the TCU of the 5-speed Tiptronic S transmission has been upgraded by the German company Steffan, resulting in faster, smoother shifts with less torque slip. According to a power test, it delivers 500pk and 726Nm of torque at 1,950 revolutions, allowing it to sprint to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 310km/h. The PTM all-wheel-drive system provides tremendous grip, allowing the power to be utilized much more effectively than in a GT3 or rear-wheel-drive Carrera. Thanks to dynamic engine mounts, the rare PCCB option [-20kg], excellent load-carrying capacity, and adaptive sports seats with 12-way adjustment, this is the ideal driver’s configuration.
This particular car, built in October 2007, was initially delivered in Aachen, Germany, for €200,332 and was imported fairly quickly [mei 2008]. It has had only four private owners. In addition to the above options, it features adaptive dampers [PASM], heated seats, driver’s seat memory, cruise control, trip computer, rear ParkAssist, bi-xenon headlights with washers, auto-dimming mirrors, rain sensor, sun-shielding windshield, automatic climate control with air conditioning, anti-theft alarm [SCM-klasse 3], HomeLink garage door opener, silver instrument cluster dials, and the Sport Chrono stopwatch.
This 911 was recently equipped with the latest Porsche Classic Communication Management system, which includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth phone connectivity, DAB radio, and audio streaming. A number of options were custom-made under the Porsche Exclusive label: aluminum exterior mirrors, stainless steel door sills, a thicker leather sports steering wheel, and painted-to-match side sills, diffuser, and front spoiler.
Maintenance was performed exclusively by Porsche dealers and specialists at 29,368 km [15-5-2009], 53,672 km [9-3-2011], 77,195 km [7-3-2013], 105,150 km [9-3-2016], 127,000 km [15-12-2016], 142,762 km [19-3-2019], 160,436 km [8-9-2020], 164,827 km [30-4-2021], 174,438 km [23-5-2023], and 179,939 km [29-8-2025]. The latter involved a major service, including spark plugs, ignition coils, and transmission service [filter, pakkingen en olie]. Additionally, various exhaust gaskets, control arms, wheel bearings, top mounts, and complete shock absorbers were replaced. This repair cost a whopping €9,692.03 and was performed by specialist Van den Berg. The Pirelli P-Zero tires with N2 rating still have at least 60% tread depth all around and have been aligned by Steverink. The service history also notes that the condensers, multi-ribbed belt, and various coolant hoses were replaced in 2021, and the radiators in 2019. Everything is neatly documented in the Porsche service folder.
Both the technical and cosmetic conditions are excellent. The paint and wheels show no significant signs of wear, there is virtually no stone chip damage, and the entire vehicle is protected with a ceramic coating. The car has never been in an accident, and with the exception of the front end, all paintwork is still original. The interior is also virtually flawless, fresh, and has been treated with great care. Everything functions properly, and there are no malfunctions. All invoices are included, as well as a dealer report, a power test, the certificate of origin, both keys, a Porsche umbrella, and a custom-made interior cover from DS Covers. For international buyers, it’s important to note that the type approval for the 9ff exhaust and the Certificate of Conformity ( [CvO of COC] ) are included. Speaking of the exhaust: it features switchable valves that can be opened and closed from the center console. This upgrade enhances the driving experience even further. Feel free to come by and experience it for yourself!
