1989 Porsche 911 3.2L Carrera Sunroof Coupe

The last of the 3.2L Carreras is finished in a rare color combination of Black (color code 700) with a Linen (NG) interior. Factory equipment includes US Standard Emissions, Blaupunkt Radio, Cruise Control, Electric Sliding Sunroof, Power Windows, and Air Conditioning. The exterior paint is original with some patina. The black dash and door caps contrast beautifully against the preserved linen upholstery. The original leather-wrapped steering wheel is in very good condition, with VDO instrumentation, a Blaupunkt CDM147 AM/FM stereo with CD player, and cold factory air conditioning. The undercarriage is original, solid, and rust-free.

Records on file reflect routine maintenance history from 1996 to present. On August 22, 1996, at 41,854 miles, The Collection (Porsche dealer) in Coral Gables, Florida replaced all four brake rotors and brake pads, cruise control cable, and the oil and oil filter were changed. On March 25, 2005, Midwest Performance Cars performed a 60k service at 53,843 miles totaling $2,654.33. From 2006 to 2016 regular maintenance was performed by John Walker’s Workshop in Seattle, Washington specializing in Porsche.

Squire’s Autowerke performed a significant service in August of 2020 including an oil and filter change, replacement of the S oil hose, fuel lines, AC belt, alternator belt, flushing the brake fluids, installed a new engine compartment sound pad, and removed the rear axels to replace the CV boots totaling $3,037.98. Most recently new Continental 205 55 ZR 16 fronts and 225 50 ZR 16 rear Extreme Contact Sport D2 tires were installed, the Fuch alloy 6” x 16” and 8” x 16” wheels were restored, a new air conditioning compressor and dyer were installed, new black Porsche floor mats were installed, and the oil and filter were changed.

Mechanically, a powerful 3.2L flat-six engine (M930/25) producing 217HP, paired to a smooth-shifting 915 manual G50 5-speed transmission (G50/01) and four-wheel disc brakes. An excellent driving K-Series with plenty of horsepower and a smooth-shifting G50 transmission. Complete with an owner’s manual, tool kit, spare tire, and 27 years of service records. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire the last of the 911 3.2 Carreras that is ready to enjoy in a beautiful color combination.
