This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe was ordered new by Mr. Glenn of Florence, SC via his local dealer, Dorsey Horton Porsche. The special-order color of Tahoe Blue Metallic was selected along with the best performance options available on a US car, such as Limited Slip Differential, Sports Suspension and 17” Cup Wheels. The car was completed in September 1991 and was issued German registration number BRK293Y. Mr. Glenn enjoyed over 3,500 miles in Europe and didn’t take delivery of the car in the USA until February 27, 1993 when it was delivered to him via Dorsey Horton Porsche with 3,580 miles on the odometer. Subsequent owners are fully documents and there is a very nice file of service records on hand that date back to 1993.

The service history binder reads as you would expect and this 911 has received significant attention to the AC system, oil leaks and relays. The most recent owner, who owned the car three years and put 17,000 miles on it, replaced all filters, all belts, all fluids, spark plugs, oil lines, resealed the engine, installed new brakes and rotors and tracked down an original radio and had it rebuilt. He also purchased and installed a sport exhaust, which is currently on the car and the original is available too. The body is in excellent condition along with the paint quality throughout. Being an original car, the hood and front bumper have some stone chips that are consistent with lower mileage cars but are visible on close inspection. The light grey interior is clean, and the leather is soft and only showing minimal signs of use. The black dash, steering wheel, gauges and door caps are a welcome contrast to the other light surfaces. This is a very good driving 964 coupe that has super desirable options, is a very exciting color, has a full service history and has never suffered accident damage or modifications.
