The 964 Carerra 2 is proving to be the sweet spot in the line up of Porsche. With the classic dimensions and more modern engine and creature comforts it is both stylish and useable at the same time. While the rear-wheel-drive configuration of the Carrera 2 gives an unfiltered steering feel that is not found in modern cars. The basics are simple, relatively light car and the front wheels only need to do the steering and the back wheels have all the traction you need because of the rear engine layout.

This guards red Christmas present was driven sparsely throughout its life and that shows. The 964 is in a beautiful originals state and is without any form of visual altercations such as big wheels and lowered suspension. It is as they say “original only once”

Driving the Carrera 2 is a joy the Tiptronic gives good feedback on the throttle and is true piece of craftsmanship when compared to other gearboxes from back in the day. You can shift using the gear lever but can also enjoy a leisurely cruise through the city or nature.
