The Porsche 964 Carrera 4 was the first 911 to feature an advanced all-wheel drive system, based on technology Porsche previously used in the legendary 959. This system provided excellent traction and stability regardless of driving conditions and significantly improved the overall driving experience.

Under the hood is a 3.6-liter air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine that produces 247 hp. This engine offers powerful acceleration and a top speed of 260 mph. Combined with a five-speed manual transmission, the 964 Carrera 4 delivers a driving experience that is both dynamic and refined.

The 964 was known for introducing several technological innovations. In addition to the all-wheel drive system, this model also introduced ABS (anti-lock braking system).
