1996 Porsche (911) 993 Targa for sale!
Specified from new with the stunning color combination of Iris Blue Metallic over special leather Flamenco Red. Produced as a press vehicle for the factory in 1996, with the internal Z Code 00681 “Presse-Fahrzeug”.
This vehicle ended its production line in the Porsche Exclusive department, and received a special engine treatment catalogued internally as 10001 “Motor mit Leistungs- und laufruhe”, which translates to more powerful engine and smoother running. Also, it received more attention to detail in the aesthetics of its engine compartment (internal Z code number 11631, “Ueberpruefung vorsehen optik im motorraum”).
It also had to get an individual TÜV approval (technical inspection) for its registration.
This unique Targa was first sold to its first owner in Germany in December 1997. In 2003, it was purchased by a long time custodian who had the vehicle until 2019. It has never been accidented/repaired, it has its original panels and has just been serviced prior to its delivery to its next owner.
