The front end was also extensively modified. The hood was lengthened and adapted to the F-model look, including a lock modification. In addition, the vehicle was equipped with a central fuel filler. The front underbody was raised, the oil and A/C coolers were repositioned, and the front bumper was fabricated in the F-model ST style with metal brackets and impact absorbers. Brackets, control units, and the wiring harness in the area of the front subframe also had to be modified accordingly.

On the rear axle, fenders in the style of the 930 Turbo were adapted to the body, and corresponding inner fenders were fabricated. The entire rear section was converted to the F-model ST look. The rear bumper is made of fiberglass and was custom-fitted. F-model taillights, as well as custom-made upper and lower rear trim panels, complete the conversion. In addition, two chrome-plated exhaust tips were installed.

The suspension was completely overhauled. It features a KW Level 3 coilover suspension with compression and rebound damping adjustments. Spacers and three-piece 18-inch Fuchs rims are used on the front and rear axles. According to the available information, these are 7.5- and 10-inch-wide three-piece forged wheels. The braking system was completely replaced with a Brembo system.

The exhaust system was also completely redesigned and custom-built. It is a stainless steel dual-pipe system tuned to highlight the air-cooled engine’s sound. Additionally, interior sound insulation was reduced to make the driving experience and sound more reminiscent of an early 911.

The engine and transmission were not completely overhauled, as they were reportedly in very good condition according to the seller. The engine was removed and inspected, and a major service was performed, including the replacement of various components. According to verbal information, these are the original engine and transmission; however, the seller does not have any further documentation regarding this.

The power convertible top was completely replaced. The windshield and all of the vehicle’s seals were also replaced. The original exterior mirrors were removed and replaced with Singer mirrors. Other Singer components include the shift lever and brake lever, among others.

The interior has also been extensively rebuilt and fully upholstered in leather. Two new König RS seats and red seat belts were installed. The door panels were upgraded to a lightweight ST version. The carpets were completely replaced, as was the stereo system, including the speakers. The instrument cluster was completely refurbished and fitted with an RS logo.

Finally, the body was completely repainted. The vehicle is finished in Porsche Deep Black Metallic and was additionally coated with clear coat.

The result is a highly customized 993 restomod that combines the classic F-model and ST look with the base of a 993 Carrera 2 Cabriolet. The entire restoration process is documented with photographs; this documentation will be provided to the buyer. The vehicle also comes with a 2026 appraisal valuing it at over 500,000 euros.
