Porsche 911 964 Carrera 2 WTL – Cool Classics Club

A classic that ‘typifies’ the 911 for many. The 964 Porsche model was produced from 1989 to 1995. According to Porsche, this model was 85% different from its predecessor. It is the first model of the 911 series to offer four-wheel drive in its range; the Carrera 4 (13,343 units produced in total). Between the Turbo and ‘normal’ Carrera there was a big difference in looks. The hips were a lot wider, which made the 964 even better. However, the price difference was such that the power of the Carrera was more than enough to fit in. The most 911 enthusiast went home with a ‘slim’ 964.

This was also seen from the factory and a suitable solution followed; the WTL. Those of us, together with 1196 others, did a little bit more on top of the appearance of the Carrera. A small 1200 pieces with the Werks Turbo Look package were delivered from the factory. This package provided the thick wide hips and beautiful lines, which completes the most iconic 911 (and what a good ass the WTL…)!

Our WTL is extra special. The Porsche has barely been run in with its 45 thousand kilometres and is in absolute new condition. Next to its special condition, the 964 WTL is composed very well. The Grand Prix white with the two-part CUP wheels accentuate the sporty character of the Porsche. The purple interior with hood completes this. We would never have dared to order new from the factory; but how cool it is! We think that the number of WTL convertibles in this colour composition can be counted on one hand!

Of course all history is present, besides all the original tool parts and booklets. If you want to prepare well for the rides along the boulevard next spring and summer – this is your chance, with our unique Cool Classic!
