In autumn 1993, Porsche AG sold the car to the only registered German owner via a German Porsche dealer with less than 4000 km on the clock. (old German KFZ letter is available) The Speedster was then driven and enjoyed by the same owner until 2014, who always had it professionally serviced at the Porsche Center Saarland until 1999. From the year 2000 until 2013, the Porsche specialist SWS looked after the car in his workshop. In the summer of 2014, the car then went into a private Porsche collection and since then has only been driven very sporadically, but despite the low mileage it has been handed over to the Porsche Center Giessen for service 3 times. We have now acquired the car from this collector with 34,900 km.
The Porsche Center Münster immediately carried out a major service for us with additional work, as is normally only necessary for the 40,000 km and 80,000 km service. This was done despite the low mileage of only 34,900 km, because after a good 30 years various components simply had to be replaced for smooth and trouble-free operation in the future and for driving fun. Standing damage was also immediately checked, processed and ruled out. Of course, 4 new Michelin tires were fitted on the same occasion. The Speedster is now ready for its future owner, whether collector, open-top driving connoisseur or Porsche enthusiast. A 964 Speedster like this should be extremely difficult to find. Of the only 930 vehicles built, a large number were built for the US market, many had Tiptronic transmissions and only a small number had the rare RS interior. The low mileage and the history, which can be fully documented with 17 services, speak for themselves, as does the condition of the vehicle. The 5000 euros finally invested at Porsche for the extremely extensive service with additional work (see above) underline that there is no investment – repair backlog with this vehicle. The vehicle comes with all logbooks (some of them twice in both Swedish and German), the original checkbook, Speedster additional instructions, the original key card, all 3 keys, the tools, the compressor, jack, tool bag, etc. etc. The next summer will surely come !!!
