The Porsche 964 Carrera RS Lightweight embodies the essence of classic Porsche racing philosophy: consistent lightweight construction, maximum feedback, and uncompromising driving dynamics.

Developed as a street-legal homologation version, the RS deliberately sacrificed comfort in favor of performance—with a stripped-down interior, reduced sound insulation, and a noticeably more direct driving experience. Today, it is considered one of the purest and most sought-after air-cooled 911s ever made.

The example presented here was delivered new to Willich, Germany, on November 4, 1991, and was ordered in the now highly sought-after color Sternrubin L82N (rubystone red).

The first German vehicle registration certificate documents the car’s ownership history, which is now complete. A total of three owners are listed in the registration certificate. Throughout this period, the vehicle was regularly serviced, a fact that is also consistently documented in the service booklet.

This is also evident in the car’s condition, which is sensationally good. According to the owner, the car has never been in an accident and has never been repainted.

Finding an original 964 Carrera RS in pristine condition, in Sternrubin with a clear history and low mileage, is no easy task today—a true benchmark example of this legendary RS series.
