In addition, maintenance invoices and the service booklet, maintained by the Porsche Center, are available. Current status as of September 2026:

The Turbo was part of the previous owner’s collection and was driven only rarely to prevent storage damage. A major service—including a complete brake overhaul, new tires, all fluids, oils, and belts, an air conditioning service, and a new windshield—brings it back onto the road.

The RUF performance upgrade to 550 PS—known as the RUF Rturbo 550 for the Porsche 996 Turbo—boosts the power of the six-cylinder biturbo engine with X50 from 450 to 550 PS and the torque to 780 Nm.

The package essentially includes the following components and modifications:

• Turbochargers: Modified KKK K24 turbochargers
• (based on the Porsche X50/GT2 standard, but with flow channels modified by RUF).
• GT2 intercooler: More powerful intercooler (GT2 spec) to lower the charge air temperature.
• Engine management: Customized engine and transmission control software (ECU).
• Exhaust System & Manifold: Special RUF exhaust and modified exhaust manifolds for improved exhaust backpressure.
• Air Intake: Sport air filter and modified turbo hoses.
• Engine mounts: Modified engine mounts for more stable engine mounting under load.
• RUF coilover suspension with wheel alignment
