Repeat visitor ! Finished in Seal Grey Metallic over Graphite Grey interior, this 996.1 C2 comes to us for a second time. This is a well known car that’s lived in the Charlotte area and has been serviced and maintained by local Porsche specialists and has spared no expense to service and sorting.Acquired early in the Pandemic, the previous owner spared no expense in making the car reliable as well as up-fitting the car with some tasteful OEM+ bits. This car really spoiled the 996 experience for me. It truly exemplifies just how great these cars can be when dialed in properly. Prior to doing so, he ensured all of the known weak points were addressed with the help of great local service partners.

The deletion of the factory center console, tape deck, stock shift knob, addition of a Continental Classic BT radio all really aid towards a more cohesive interior that feels much more robust. All of the stock equipment is included with the sale. The car is extremely compliant on the road. Steering is precise. Shifts are direct, with no play. Clutch is plush and engages as new. Ride quality is better than stock around town, but the suspension loads up and inspires much more confidence in the twisties. Driving video to follow this week!

Moving on to the the exterior. Seal grey is one of my favorite 996 colors. I’ve looked the car up and down and can’t find any signs of paintwork, as also evidenced by the meter. Paint is excellent overall. Tires are about halfway through the life. We just had all four wheels refinished professionally prior to the auction. This car is about as turnkey as they get and benefits from a very loving ownership
