We are pleased to offer for sale this magnificent Porsche 993 Targa in Polar Silver with a full leather interior in Midnight Blue, a sublime specification. In addition, this is a very beautiful example with only 74,220 km, the car has been regularly maintained since its delivery in Italy to the Padova Porsche Center in 1995, and we have a large file of invoices since 2007. In addition, the car is completely in original paint. The car was last serviced in April 2024 by the Gelderland Porsche Classic Center.

Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1993, the 911 type 993 succeeds to the 964. Thanks to its superb design, the car immediately receives enormous success. It has a new face with inclined front headlights, as well as a smoothed and softened line compared to previous models. The introduction of the 993 was a milestone in Porsche history, being the last to use the air-cooled engine that had been a feature of the 911 since its launch.

The 911 Type 993 is considered by many to be the most beautiful of all 911s, as it maintains the basic line while adding mechanical and aesthetic modernity. Alongside the introduction of the streamlined body, a multi-link rear suspension improves comfort and dynamic handling by reducing the tendency to oversteer.

The Targa version, launched in 1995, is distinguished by its electrically sliding glass roof, an innovation replacing the fixed roll bar of the previous Targas, which offers an open-top driving experience while ensuring the insulation of a coupé and combining brightness and elegance without compromising structural rigidity. The 3.6L flat-six develops 285 horsepower, allowing the car to reach 60 mph in 5.5 seconds for a top speed of around 167 mph.
