Porsche 993 Targa

The mirrors and wider rear arches are in equally good order; displaying no major marks or chips, whilst lights remain crack and fade free.

Recently subject to front end PPF to protect from unwanted stone chips.

INTERIOR
The interior of this Targa is reflective of the milage as the leather remains tight and clean with only the lightest signs of use to the drivers seat to report. The carpets and mat set are in good order whilst door cards, dash fit and operation are as you would expect for a car that has been pampered from day one. The only elements here that deviate from original is the Porsche Classic Nav system with Bluetooth, USB and Aux which brings this 993 into the 21st century.

The cabin provides Cabriolet-like airiness and the chance to enjoy the sun whilst much less exposed at speed than in a conventional drop top. The roof mechanism works as it should.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The tractable 3.6 litre is a perfectly elastic powertrain at both ends of the rev range. As the Targa was only 30kg heavier than the Coupe it drivers very similarly. The engine bay presents in exceptional order as you would expect from a car with such low miles and has only ever been under the care of the Porsche main dealer.

The gearbox is also both tight, intuitive and upon completion of its warming cycle a joy to use.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Split Rim wheels present as new. Wrapped in Continental Sport-contact 2’s on all four corners with plenty of tread remaining. Brakes present with clean calipers and plenty of disc / pad life remaining.
