Originally delivered as a German Carrera, the coupe was upgraded to the technical specifications of a 993 RS in 2012 at approximately 140,000 km:
At the heart of the conversion is the completely rebuilt 3.8-liter RS M64/20 engine, which has only about 10,000 kilometers on the odometer.
For power transmission, a six-speed transmission with the gear ratios of the 993 RS, a more precise RS shift pattern, and stiffer transmission mounts was installed. The original mechanical limited-slip differential (M220) was replaced with a low-maintenance Quaife ATB limited-slip differential.
For the suspension, Mr. Rugen opted for a Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilover suspension with adjustable damping. This was complemented by Turbo wheel hubs, new control arms and wheel bearings, as well as a strut bar to RS specifications.
In addition, the vehicle was equipped with an extra oil cooler on the left side (factory conversion kit).
The braking system was taken over as a complete unit from the 993 Turbo. In addition to brake calipers and 322-mm brake rotors, the corresponding Turbo wheel carriers were also installed. To improve brake cooling, the Porsche was fitted with a Carrera S front apron featuring additional cooling air vents. The original front apron has been preserved and is included with the vehicle.
The interior was also carefully adapted to the vehicle’s technical concept. The original seats were replaced with genuine 993 Turbo seats and upholstered in Alcantara.
At the same time, the Carrera retained its comfort-oriented factory equipment. This includes, among other things, air conditioning, a power sunroof, an on-board computer, heated seats, and partial power seat adjustment.
The rear spoiler, controlled by a RUF control unit, deploys only at speeds of approximately 140 kph.
History
The Porsche was first registered in Germany on June 13, 1994. All changes in ownership can be traced using the complete set of vehicle registration documents.
In April 2007, Mr. Rugen purchased the Carrera with 110,501 kilometers on the odometer.
Initially, he drove the 911 largely in its original condition. In 2012, with the odometer reading around 140,000 km, the conversion began.
Mr. Rugen owned the vehicle for more than 14 years in total and confirmed the scope of the work performed in writing to the current owner.
In September 2021, the Porsche was transferred to its current owner at 145,850 kilometers. Since then, the vehicle has been regularly serviced and has been driven just under 4,000 kilometers. The current odometer reading is approximately 149,900 kilometers.
Our sales brochure includes, among other things, invoices, maintenance records, DEKRA inspections, general and emissions inspections, the vehicle registration documents, and Mr. Rugen’s letter of confirmation.

Final Remarks
This Porsche is expressly not a factory-produced 993 Carrera RS. Its uniqueness lies rather in the consistent transfer of essential RS features to an early, narrow Carrera.
The conversion was carried out by a certified Porsche engine builder for his own vehicle and has been tested over many years. The technical configuration, the complete DEKRA registrations, and a recent H-certification attest to the quality of the work performed.
