THE ICON: PORSCHE 911 SPEEDSTER

The second Speedster that Porsche produced after the 356, and the first in the 911 series.

A “WTL” (Werks Turbo Look), one of only 1,943 built!

This particular car has a very special history: It was intended for the U.S. market but ultimately never left Europe—delivered new in Germany, it made its way to me in Luxembourg via Belgium in 2018. Except for the catalytic converter, everything was converted for European use back then; see the entries in the service booklet in the photos. Its mileage of 107,900 shows that it was driven regularly, which is very important for a car of this age: so it’s no “garage queen”!

The vehicle in detail

It comes with all the paperwork, 3 original keys, the original onboard toolkit, a compressor, etc., and I have a nice collection of receipts and other documents; it has also had classic car status since 2024. It just passed its technical inspection in July 2026 with absolutely no defects!

This 911 Speedster is the perfect time machine: pure relaxation and driving pleasure!

Air-cooled 6-cylinder boxer engine
3.2 liters (3164 ccm) Type: M93025
218 PS / 160 kW
5-speed manual transmission G50 (specifically: G5001)
All in black: body (A1), interior (LE), carpet (5FV), and soft top (V9)
Air conditioning
Cruise control
Full leather interior
Leather steering wheel with raised hub
Rear luggage compartment with 2 lockable compartments in addition to the seats
Comfort seats on both sides, electrically adjustable
Delivered in June 1989

Since I’ve owned the car, I’ve invested well over €12,000—the car has been well-maintained and cherished:

– A major service at a Belgian Porsche specialist before the car was transferred to me: the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, brake fluid, engine oil and oil filter, transmission fluid, distributor cap, battery, and windshield wipers were replaced
– 4 new tires: Continental Sport Contact N2 (current tread depth 5–6 mm)
– The driver’s seat was reupholstered
– The door hinge was replaced

– Since the soft top cover always gets scratched when driving with the top down (even though this rarely happens), I had it repainted at Porsche and covered with xPel film to keep it flawless; the car was then fully polished
– Four new speakers and a modern Blaupunkt receiver (Madrid) were installed; it blends in well with the overall look. It can accommodate a memory stick and has a Bluetooth function, which I really appreciate
– The exhaust was too heavily rusted—it was beyond repair—so we installed a new one
– Since the headlights weren’t as bright as they should be, I installed LED bulbs that provide excellent light output without changing the appearance of the headlights (easily reversible for purists)
– The local Porsche Center replaced all the brake hoses, including all the brackets and springs
– I had all the fluids changed at a local Porsche specialist—not just engine oil and brake fluid, but also the fluids in the differential and transmission
– In Luxembourg, a classic car normally has to undergo a general inspection every year; that’s why I had it registered as a historic vehicle with the Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL): Now it’s “only” required every two years
– Last engine oil and filter change in March 2026, before the season begins
– Leather, plastics, and seals have been regularly maintained

Two appraisals are available, valuing the car at €180,000 and €190,000, respectively

No maintenance or investments are expected—the car runs like clockwork and is ready to hit the road immediately with its new owner.

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to part with it—you can’t keep every Porsche, and you never have enough space; a “new era” is on the horizon…

It’s available immediately; viewings by appointment. More photos and details on the work performed (invoices) are available upon request.
