This is an exceptional example of one of the most desirable open-top versions of the Porsche 964.
A genuine factory-built Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet WTL, type 964 650, equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission and showing only 14,513 km from new.
Only 599 manual Carrera 2 Cabriolet WTL examples were produced for the European market.
The WTL – Werks Turbo Look – was far more than a standard Carrera Cabriolet with wider bodywork. Porsche combined the naturally aspirated 3.6-litre Carrera 2 drivetrain with the wide Turbo body, together with Turbo-derived suspension, braking system and wheels.
This particular example was delivered new by Porsche Zentrum München on 10 June 1994 and remained in the Munich region throughout its entire life before arriving at Carrera-Sport-Classics.
It has had only three owners from new.
The second owner was the son-in-law of the original owner, meaning the Porsche remained within the same family circle for many years.
The third owner acquired the car in January 2015 with only 12,077 km. As a former automotive inspection engineer and vehicle expert, he preserved the WTL as a collector car and used it only for carefully planned exercise drives.
More than eleven years later, the mileage now stands at just 14,513 km.
PORSCHE HISTORY
From new, the car was maintained exclusively by official Porsche Centres in the Munich region, principally Porsche Zentrum München and Porsche Zentrum 5-Seen-Land.

Despite its exceptionally limited use, the car continued to receive regular Porsche maintenance and age-related items were replaced whenever necessary.
After arriving at Carrera-Sport-Classics, the WTL was comprehensively inspected by Porsche Classic Center Gelderland.
Everything considered necessary was attended to and the car received an excellent report.

EXCEPTIONAL ORIGINALITY
The preservation of this 964 is remarkable.
Virtually the entire body remains in its original factory paint, including the bumpers.
Only the left rear quarter panel received a professional repaint very early in the car’s life, with blending into the driver’s door.
According to the history passed down with the car, this work is believed to date from around the original delivery period.
The repair was professionally executed and is visually virtually undetectable. No filler or significant body repair was detected.

All original factory stickers remain present throughout the car.
The original wheels are in near-new condition and have been fitted with new Porsche N-rated tyres.
SCHWARZ-PERLCOLOR / MATADOR RED
The exterior is finished in Schwarz-Perlcolor, colour code L744.
This sophisticated pearl finish appears deep black in normal light but reveals a subtle warm, dark brown tone under changing light conditions.
Inside, the car is finished in Matador Red full leather, colour code MD.
The combination is both elegant and highly distinctive, while the condition of the interior is entirely consistent with the extraordinarily low mileage.
